Imagine City Sottsass presents a fictional urban landscape where postmodernism remains the dominant architectural force. Through a series of meticulously crafted 1:35 scale models, the concept explores a city shaped by the bold aesthetics of Memphis Milano, Art Deco, and radical design movements of the 1980s.

Rather than following a linear architectural evolution, Imagine City Sottsass envisions an alternative path, where functionalism never took hold, and ornament, color, and expressive form dictate the built environment. Classical structures are reimagined with new layers, historical references are preserved yet transformed, and every detail reflects a world in which postmodern aesthetics permeate not just interiors but entire cityscapes.

Originally conceived as the setting for the film EVA NON PIACE, these models serve as both a backdrop and a manifesto - a vision of a city where design is liberated from convention, celebrating artistic freedom and cultural hybridity on an urban scale.
